AI Consulting in Uganda

AI consulting in Uganda for government, banks, telecoms and universities. Assessment, roadmap, build and handover, delivered by a team based in Kampala.

In short

AI consulting is the work of deciding where artificial intelligence will actually pay for itself in your organisation, then building and deploying it. Kwish runs that end to end from Kampala: a diagnostic of your data and systems, a prioritised roadmap your board can sign off, and then the build, integration and handover of the systems the roadmap calls for.

Why organisations here start looking

  • 01Most Ugandan organisations already hold the data an AI system needs, spread across systems that do not talk to each other.
  • 02Pilots stall because nobody owns integration into the systems staff actually use, not because the model was wrong.
  • 03Procurement needs a scope, a price and a named delivery team before anything can move. We write engagements that way.

What the engagement includes

AI Consulting in Uganda: what you actually get.

AI readiness assessment

A structured review of your data, systems, skills and governance, with the gaps that would stop a deployment named plainly.

Prioritised use-case roadmap

Candidate use cases scored on value, feasibility and data readiness, sequenced into a plan with owners and timelines.

Board-ready recommendation

The business case in language an executive committee can approve, including what we would not recommend building yet.

Build and integration

The chosen system designed, built and integrated with your existing stack, not left as a demo.

Handover and training

Documentation, training sessions and 90 days of support so your team runs the system after we leave.

Why a locally delivered partner

Global playbook. African execution.

A team in the room

Our engineers work from Kampala and Nairobi, so workshops, integration sessions and go-live support happen in person, in your timezone.

Built for the infrastructure you have

Intermittent connectivity, mixed on-premise and cloud, legacy databases. We design for those conditions rather than assuming them away.

Global standard, local execution

Offices in Uganda, Kenya, Sweden and Canada mean international engineering practice applied to Ugandan delivery realities.

03
Embedded AI partner

Monthly retainer. Continuous capability alongside your team, across several use cases and quarters.

Questions buyers ask

AI Consulting in Uganda: common questions

What does AI consulting in Uganda actually involve?
A diagnostic of your data and systems, a prioritised roadmap of use cases, then the design, build, integration and handover of the systems you approve. The consulting and the engineering sit in the same team, so what gets recommended is what gets built.
How much does an AI project cost?
It depends on the engagement model. A fixed-scope assessment and roadmap runs 2 to 4 weeks; a build and deploy engagement runs 8 to 16 weeks on agreed milestones; an embedded partnership is a monthly retainer. Tell us the problem and we will quote the scope.
Do you work with government institutions?
Yes. Public-sector delivery is one of our core practices, including a national communications content platform for the Uganda Media Centre. We write engagements to survive procurement scrutiny, with defined scope, milestones and handover.
What if our data is not ready?
That is the usual finding, and the assessment is designed to surface it early. In most cases the first phase is a data layer, not a model, and we will say so rather than build on foundations that will not hold.
Will our team be able to run the system afterwards?
Yes. Every engagement ends with documentation, training and 90 days of support, and we have trained over 300 professionals through our Yiga AI programme.
Where is Kwish based?
Headquarters in Kampala, Uganda and Stockholm, Sweden, with additional presence in Kenya and Canada.
